This assembly replaces the belt tension idler roller assembly used on the traction belt of many Gilson built, friction drive snowblowers. Applicable models have 1, 3, or 4 speeds. This part is mounted to the engine. It replaces prior versions that had bronze liner bearings as well as a later version with ball bearings. These prior versions are included in the pictures for reference.
This replacement part features a hearty sealed ball bearing with a precision machined outer shell that will provide a long, maintenance free service. It is a direct replacement, no modification is required. Just bolt it on, attach the spring and start working.
