Beautiful and complete set!  Please note that the year above (1947) found in Item Specifics is an estimate.  An Estate Sale appraiser dated these pieces "Circa 1940's" as found in my Title.  Only designation mark is the Made In France stamp on the bottom of the box, so exact brand unknown.  One black pawn has wear to original finish, and box lid has a corner missing.  With that said, each piece is present and complete with no chips, splits, breaks, etc.  Dovetailed box also complete with exception of what's listed above, but I did find it difficult to slide lid into track due to expansion of box.  I did get in  after some effort, however the box opening is slightly wider than the lid, and could be "reformed" with bungees or rubber bands, but I am passing it on as is.  I made no attempt to clean or polish this vintage set.  Please see pics for further description and condition.
