Domestic plug in timers are not designed to switch On/Off High Pressure Sodium or Metal Halide (HID High Intensity Discharge) control gear as used in modern ballasts leading to timer and ultimately lamp failure
Our Contactor is a plug in line solution to connect to a Twin 13a domestic switched socket and is capable of switching 4 x 250w, 4 x 400, 3 x 600w, or 1 x 1000w HID light
Our Contactors are fitted with a Twin (2) or Quad (4) 13a White Trailing Socket with red power 'on' indicator as standard
Our Contactor is rugged, durable, guaranteed against manufacturers defects and to withstand normal use for a minimum period of two years from date of purchase
Please note a domestic mechanical or digital 13a UK Timer (not supplied) is required for this contactor to function without manual switching
