This handbook supplement was published as an addition, to be added to the Ferrari document wallet, which would have been destined for an owner of a new F355 spider, in Right Hand Drive markets, during 1995.

The 355 range of cars had debuted in 1994, replacing the 348 model, including a departure from the naming procedure for the V6/V8 model ranges. The previous ‘206/246/208/308/328/348’ names had all derived from the engine size in litres followed by the number 6 or 8 to signify the number of cylinders.

The new car, with a 3.5 litre V8 engine, held to the first part of the sequence but the number 5 on the end related to the 5-valve per-cylinder, cylinder head.

The book, measuring 24cm x 17cm, has 52 inner pages of instruction covering all the information, from opening the doors to adjusting mirrors, operating lights and ignition, refuelling, accessing the engine bay and much more that would be necessary for the owner’s understanding of the car. All of the text is in Italian, English, French and German.

It must be presumed that the original full handbook, for the base model Left Hand Drive, did not, in any way, cover Right Hand Drive “Controls - Operating Instructions” in Section H, as this fully replaces that section of the owner’s book.

The factory catalogue number on the last inner page reads Catalogo no 1020/95, but with no print date or quantity specified. It is very unlikely that many of these supplements would have been produced as the information would, surely, have been included in the next full handbook update.

This VERY RARE, over 30 years old and owner-unused, book is in excellent condition with only some minimal markings to the covers, edges and corners.
