Condition:

radio: works, really nice and clear

volume works

But this is where we get some disappointment:

Play/fwd/rwd work don’t work

No motor noise either

Folks, I'm not a specialist - I know with the size of the listed collection that it looks like that - however it's an estate sale (all funds going to my mother); my step-father died 4 months ago leaving 1500 walkmen to sell. I test them by throwing in batteries and seeing if it will power on, radio and then play (I listen for motor noise if the spools don't move)... Any other questions - please ask. I DO NOT have technical or electrical engineering skills, they are not opened and do not have a deep dive diagnostic test done on them, this is not my hobby (that's comic collecting - will gladly trade vintage Spider-man for a Walkman) - this is me trying to save these from being taken to the tip (this was the advice given to my mother by her friends!!!).
