A beautiful example of early custom jewellery in very good condition with no missing cabochons or emamel. Brass filigree disc backing, multi-tiered layered floral filigree work, prong-set large central cabochon surrounded by smaller cabochons, hand-painted enamel flower details scattered through the open filigree. The layered, “wedding cake” construction style (multiple stamped filigree layers stacked and riveted together, with cabochons and enamel flowers added on top) is very characteristic of the Gablonz/Jablonec costume jewelry trade generally, and is consistent with, though not exclusively unique to, the Neiger Brothers’ workshop output from the late 1920s-1930s.

The quality of the fine filigree and enamel work also support attribution to the Neiger Brothers workshop.

Buyers should however understand that the attribution here is connoisseur-based rather than mark-confirmed or provenance backed.
