The "ebayPRYANKEE" watermark shown across the images is NOT on the actual photographs. This was simply added to the ebay images to keep others from copying without permission.
In several auctions tonight, I will be listing a large collection of original antique albumen photos of Mexico. All are fresh to the market, from a local Florida estate.
**************************************
Attributed to ABEL BRIQUET / Alfred Saint-Ange Briquet (1833, Paris - 1926, Mexico)
Although unsigned, the photos were labeled by the previous owner as having been taken by Briquet, and were found in an album of photos that WERE signed by Briquet.
Backsides identified, as shown.
Date: ca. 1885-1889

Because the photos are on thin paper, and are slightly curled, the first view shown in this auction is of the photographs under a sheet of non-glare glass, so photos lie flat. The second and third views show the photos without the glass, but held flat by a small weight on each corner.
Photos measure approximately 6" by 4 5/8"
Sold just as-found, with some wrinkling, but no rips, tears, holes, or repairs. Images are crisp and clear, with excellent contrast and focus, so they could be successfully enlarged, if desired.
GUARANTEED TO BE AN ORIGINAL ANTIQUE circa-1880's PHOTOGRAPH, AND NOT A LATER COPY OR REPRODUCTION!
