Since 1938 the G-1 flight jacket has been regulation issue gear to pilots of the United States Navy. The G-1 is also worn by members of the USMC and US Coast Guard. This leather flight jacket has been worn by Navy and Marine Corps flight crews during the most heroic air battles in history.

This jacket, made of 100% Military Spec lambskin, features:

US Navy pattern
A genuine silky lambs wool shearling mouton fur collar like the WWII era jackets (instead of the current government spec synthetic acrylic collar)
Wool-knit cuffs and waistband
Top entry front flap pockets
Full zip front wind flap
An inside chest pocket with nylon lining
