For sale is a RATOC FireREX1 / FR1SX FireWire to Ultra SCSI adapter, complete in box with original driver on CD, documentation, and firewire cable.

This adapter allows compatible FireWire-equipped computers to connect to older SCSI devices, such as film scanners, external drives, and other SCSI peripherals, depending on driver and operating system support.

The unit has two FireWire 400 ports, an external power input, and a high-density 50-pin SCSI connector.

This model is often used with vintage SCSI equipment, including Minolta and Nikon film scanners, and is generally regarded by many users as one of the stronger FireWire-based options compared with many USB-to-SCSI adapters.

With the correct drivers, operating system, cabling, and Apple Thunderbolt to FireWire adapters, it may also be usable with some newer Mac setups.
