antique condition. The enamel is in good condition with no chips or loss. The
icon naps shut securely. Light tarnish to piece. Please see photos for

Description: Imperial Russian Enamel
Triptych Travel Icon, 84” Sterling Silver - Moscow 1892. This is a superb antique imperial Russian sterling silver &
enamel triptych travel icon. From pre-Soviet Imperial Russia, this folding
miniature altar pendant, crafted in .84 silver, unfolds to reveal a colorful
enamel triptych incorporating saints and the Twelve Apostles. To the reverse
the icon is stamped with the makers mark. Assayers mark, Silver standard mark
84”, and Moscow hallmark depicted an anchor and a grapnel crossing a scepter,
variations on the theme were used until 1892-1917 years.
