From and For a 1964 BUICK WILDCAT

A/T Tilt Steering Column

I sold this last year and the buyer returned it missing the shift handle and he also damaged the plastic lower tube adapter, but only cometically

I had another Tilt Column Shifter handle that I fit into it correctly, although it differs a bit cosmetically and is missing the knob. It functions fine. The plastic tube-retainer at the bottom is chipped off around the edges, but functions fine

There's a portion of the turn-signal receptacle housing that's missing, but doesn't affect it's operation and is hidden well under the dash

The Tilt and T/S levers are corroded

The Column has been painted very poorly and will need stripped and redone

I sanded a bit of the paint off to show the condition of the metal, which has only minor surface stuff and will prep and paint well

The Column functions correctly and the Tilt Mechanism is good and snug

This would be fine for a driver or will restore nicely
