Jones won Broadway's Tony Award in 1969 as the boxer, Jack Johnson, in "The Great White Hope." He splits his career between New York and Hollywood-- he was the voice of Darth Vader in "Star Wars" and "The Empire Strikes Back." "There's a pattern," he says. "Every two years I tend to come back to Broadway, go broke, and then go back to Los Angeles and try to recoup before coming back here again."Photo measures 8 x 11.5inches. Photo is dated 11-05-1980.
