These Hood Release Cables for Camaro's and Firebird's are made to match the original cables found in 1982-1989 Camaro's and 1982-1992 Firebirds. They feature a white painted font that matches the original cables. If your stock cables are stretched out and not releasing the hood properly these are the cables for you. 

Product comes as shown in the pictures ready to install in the car. 

This cable is designed to be installed in 1982-1989 Camaro's and 1982-1992 Firebirds. It will fit in 1990-1992 Camaro's as well but is not a correct replacement part as those cars used a cable with yellow text.
