The Maserati 300S is a detailed and precise model of the iconic 1950s racing car and its inner workings. This car is known as one of Maserati's most successful sports car racing cars of the 1950s, competing against Ferrari and Aston Martin. This model reproduces as realistically as possible the internal mechanisms of the 300S, including the chassis, engine, suspension, and braking system, and comes in a “rolling chassis” version with no cowl, allowing the viewer to closely observe the actual mechanisms.
The precisely reproduced engine mimics the 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine of the real car, and even the wiring and piping are finely represented. The suspension, dampers, and driveshafts have also been realistically reproduced, giving it the functional beauty of a race car, and thanks to CMC's high level of technical expertise, each part has been detailed to such an extent that it looks like a scaled-down version of the real car.
