    4.Installation process of a fuel pump

     

    (1) Release the pressure in the fuel system.

     

    (2) Open the rear hatch of the vehicle or flip open the rear seat.

     

    (3) Remove the fuel discharge and return pipes.

     

    (4) Unplug the electric fuel pump harness and unscrew the set screws.

     

    (5) Remove the wire connecting the electric fuel pump to the bracket, pull the electric fuel pump out of the bracket and remove the electric fuel  pump.

     

    (6) Pull out the electric gasoline pump and the strainer.

     

    (7) Install the electric gasoline pump bracket assembly in the reverse order of disassembly.

     

    (8) Install the electric oil pump bracket assembly into the oil tank, taking care to install the gasket and tighten it.

     

    (9) Install the fuel outlet pipe, fuel return pipe and harness plug.

     

    (10) Preset the oil pressure of the fuel system.

     

    Attention：No fire during the installation.

     

    5.When to change the fuel pump assembly？

    Your car is in the following 6 situations.

     

    • Weak acceleration of the vehicle.

     

    • Stuttering when refuelling.

     

    • Strange noise from the vehicle.

     

    • Shaking and vibration.

     

    • The fuel system of the vehicle is unable to supply fuel.

     

    • The engine does not start.
