A beautifully printed little book of hymns by Marcus Ward, designed as an Easter gift, and published in the late 1800's. The covers and pages are thin card, so it has survived in remarkably good condition. The covers are lightly soiled with some faint stains and some marks. The silk ribbon bow is tatty and frayed, but the binding is still holding firm. Internally the book is clean and undamaged, with the inevitable off-setting from the chromo-litho plates, which are stunning.
It measures 11cm x 13cm, and has 16 pages plus covers.
