This is a fully-functional die-cast replica of a German WWII black wound badge.  It is appropriate for wear by German veterans and Wehrmacht re-enactors.  It complies with the laws of the German Federal Republic (Bundesrepublik). It is worn on the left breast pocket. It is a die cast medal badge "ohne HK."

Although this badge fully complies with the laws of    the German Federal Republic (Bundesrepublik), the full size version was not worn by
members of the Bundeswehr.  Instead the award was worn on a ribbon bar ribbon represented by a "mini" device.
