The Great Britain 50 Pounds Banknote was issued by the Bank of England in 2020. The banknote is printed on polymer and features Queen Elizabeth II on its obverse. The reverse depicts mathematician and scientist Alan Turing. It also shows a mathematical table and formula, an Automatic Computing Engine (ACE) Pilot Machine, a ticker tape showing Alan Turing’s birth date in binary code, and technical drawings for the “British Bombe”. The banknote is signed by Sarah John and is in uncirculated condition.
