Overview
This MagCAD Headset Kit is an "all in one" solution to mount the latest Roval Rapide integrated cockpit to your compatible Specialized Allez Sprint (2022-2025) road bike. This kit contains all the part needed to pair the Roval Rapide cockpit to your Allez Sprint road bike.

This remodelled headset top bearing cover and short version spacers integrate the aero design of the Roval Rapide handlebars to the more rounded shape of the Allez Sprint, improving aesthetics and allowing the use of an integrated computer mount out front for a super clean cockpit.

The short version spacers here in this kit are already a popular item as part of our MagCAD Roval Rapide Specialized Tarmac SL7 Headset Kit - Short, shorter in length to finish flush with the back of the Rapide cockpit stem clamp.

Electronic internal cable routing is supported in exactly the same way as the similarly designed Tarmac SL7 road bike, which shares a number of headset components with the Allez Sprint.

Please note: This MagCAD Headset Kit is only compatible with electronic shifting and does not support the additional cables for mechanical shifting.

​Application
All MagCAD headset parts are 3D printed in a durable Nylon to ensure they are robust to many years of use. As with any steering related components they should be installed by a competent mechanic and inspected regularly. Incorrect assembly or mis-use may result in damage to the headset components and/or injury.

Particular care should be taken to ensure the internal cable routing is installed correctly and checked periodically.

The MagCAD Top Bearing Cover in this kit has a stack height of 13.2mm, approx. 2mm less than the OEM Allez Sprint Bearing Cover that is to be removed. Coupled with the 4mm top spacer this makes for a minimum stack height of 17.2mm. The remaining spacers in the kit total 25mm in height, equating to a total supplied stack height of 42.2mm. Spacers can be removed or added to tailor the handlebar height to your exact needs.

Additional 10mm and 5mm spacers can be purchased separately should they be required.

Material
MagCAD Mounts are 3D printed in Nylon PA12. However these are not your typical home 3D printers. Following a process of SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) on industrial size printers, costing anything above £100k, the resulting mounts have fantastic resolution and refinement. The surface finish is slightly rough with a matte effect and the performance of the mounts are comparable to injection moulded parts.
