FASHIONED OF A BLACK NET BASE THAT IS ABSOLUTELY ENCRUSTED IN HIGH SHINING BLACK SEQUINS AND HAS A GEOMETRIC PATTERN THROUGHOUT.
WIDE SET NECKLINE, THICK BAND ARM HOLES. THE REAR HAS A INSERT OF SHEER BLACK SILK CHIFFON THAT HAS DRAPING BLACK GLASS FRINGE RUNNING FROM TOP TO BOTTOM.
CONDITION: THERE ARE FOUR AREAS OF ABSENT SEQUINS. THERE ARE THREE THUMBPRINT HOLES INCLUDING ONE ON THE FRONT NECKLINE, WITH A DOUBLE THUMBPRINT ON THE SIDE, AND TWO ADDITIONAL IN THE SKIRTING. THE SILK CHIFFON INSERT HAS A LARGE SPLIT AND IS IN NEED OF REPLACMENT. I WOULD FIND SOME SILK CHIFFON AND REPLICATE IT EXACTLY AS IT WAS ONCE DONE.
SUCH A BEAUTIFUL FLAPPER 1920’S DRESS WELL WORTHY OF RESTORATION.
