This is a midcentury ceiling pendant light fixture with a Sputnik/snowball design. Rewired. Perhaps created by Austrian designer Emil Stejnar and perhaps produced by Rupert Nikoll. Unbranded but most of these fixtures were not branded.
Features a metal center with several arms and sockets, all of which work, surrounded by beads and rosettes. Several beads missing. Still, awesome effect when hung.
This pendant was gifted to me by one of my former design clients in Nashville about 8-10 years ago. It was in his home hanging in the foyer. I've had it in a climate controlled storage unit for years, packed well. I just never had the right place in my home for it.
It is approximately 16" in diameter and weighs 10 lb and 6 oz.
