FASHIONED OF THICK BUTCHER’S LINEN AND IS REINFORCED ALL ALONG THE EDGES WITH LARGE METAL RINGS HANDSEWN TO THE REAR ALL ALONG THE EDGES WITH THICKER RINGS IN THE CORNER WITH ROPE PIPING ENCASED ALL ALONG THE EDGE.
I WAS TOLD THAT THIS PIECE IS FROM THE ITALIAN MILITARY AND IS STAMPED 1953 ON THE REAR
CONDITION: SEVERAL SMALL RUST SPOT STAINS ARE SEEN IN THE CENTER WITH LIGHT SOILING FROM TYPICAL USE. THERE IS ONE HEAVILY STITCHED BUILT UP REPAIR IN ONE CORNER.
