Polyurethane Fast Cast Resin.

Description.

This polyurethane fast cast resin from EA Silicones is perfect for all your crafting needs. With its fast-casting time, you can complete your projects quickly and easily. 

• Low viscosity fast cast resin.
• Mixing ratio 1A:1B.
• Fully cured castings are tough, durable, machinable and paintable.
• Resists moderate heat, solvents, dilute acids and can be machined, primed/painted or bonded to other surfaces.

Kit contains.

• 1 tin/Tub Part A. (Either 1kg or 5kg depending on quantity ordered.)
• 1 tin/Tub Part B. (Either 1kg or 5kg depending on quantity ordered.)
• 1 Information Sheet/Instructions Sheet

Technical Specifications.

Application.

Mixing:

Measure and pour equal amounts of Parts A and B into a mixing container and mix thoroughly. If adding pigment add this to part A first to get desired colour, then add the part B. 

Pouring:

Pour your mixture in a single spot at the lowest point of the mould filed and let the

mixture seek its level. The Pot life is short, so it should be poured immediately after mixing evenly.

Curing:

Curing time is between 15-35 mins dependant on conditions of the environment.

NOTE

Liquid polyurethanes are moisture sensitive and will absorb atmospheric moisture. All liquid

polyurethanes will react with moisture in the air, causing bubbles.

Bubble elimination is best achieved by pressure casting.

Storage: Shelf life of 10 months. Materials should be stored in a warm environment. Shelf life of product is reduced after opening. Remaining product should be used as soon as possible. Immediately replacing the lids on both containers after dispensing product will help prolong the shelf life of the unused product.

Delivery Information.

All orders are despatched the same working day Monday – Friday, once payment has been received. If you require a next day delivery all orders need to be ordered and paid for by 1pm Monday – Friday. Standard delivery takes 3-5 working days

If you place your order over the weekend or on a Bank Holiday then all orders will be despatched on the next working day. 

Cut off times for next day delivery (Monday-Friday Only) is 12pm. Any orders placed after this time will be despatched the next working day.

Please note: Next day delivery does not apply for Scottish Highlands, remote areas and UK Islands, all deliveries to these destinations are a 2 day service only. If you are unsure please e-mail us before purchasing.
