Fascinating and antique mechanical Longines from the 1930s.

Steel case with a beautiful octagonal shape typical of that era with very sharp edges and in excellent condition. Measurements 30mm excluding crown, height from lug to lug 39mm, lugs 16mm. Snap back. Steel crown. Plexiglass with several cracks from crystallization of the plastic but intact and quite clear.

Beautiful silver-colored sector dial with Arabic numerals, small seconds at 6 o'clock and the ancient Longines writing without logo. Blued steel hands in a beautiful art deco style.

It features an ancient and historic Longines 12.68z manual winding caliber with small seconds.

From the serial it dates back to the period 1934-1937. It is in working order and keeps time quite well, but the latest servicr is not known and there is some dirt and some rust spots on the edges of the inside of the case and case back. A cleaning and service would be advisable to preserve it as best as possible.

With a new generic black perlon strap that matches the style of the watch well.
