Boards and spines have wear and tear as shown - also some bumps, stains and discolouration. Not terrible but rebinding or rebacking could be an option. Interiors are generally in reasonable shape - subject to some foxing and creasing here and there. Also some weak points in the hinges here and there across the set. Numerous illustrations - all present (I checked today). Some are not quite in the right place according to the index at the front, but they are all there. Overall, nice opportunity to own this iconic investigation of Venice's majesty.
