• As the childs' swimming progresses and he/she gains more confidence the internal floats can be removed. As the youngster learns to swim and gains confidence you can gradually remove the internal floats, in pairs, so the child can eventually swim unaided - except for the buoyancy provided by the neoprene jacket. As a result the Mares Swim Training Floating Jacket should be a snug fit when first worn as the internal size of the jacket becomes greater as you gradually remove the pairs of internal floats.
