Description

Please note that shipping by priority parcel mail to the USA / Canada is slow and currently takes 3-5 weeks. Express is an option at USD 70. Thanks!

Up for auction is a vintage and highly collectible Campagnolo Record crankset from the 8 speed era. I have never seen a crankset like this with an engraving "PROTOTYPE - NOT USABLE". This crank came off from a running bike. I am also listing the other components, but they do not have that special marking.

Maybe not unique (who can tell?), but definitely ultra rare !

It is marked 170. The condition is used with minor to regular signs of use.

The chainrings are in very good condition with little wear to the teeth. 52/39T both Campagnolo.

On the crankarms there are some signs of use like smaller scratches / marks.

Please see pics. The item is clean. 9/16"x20.

As a description is always influenced by a personal opinion I made a couple of supersize pics that help you to judge the parts yourself. You will get what you see on the pics.

Please see my other auctions !!

Shipping

Worldwide shipping were possible! I combine shipping costs!

I am located in Vienna, Austria, EU and ship from here. Although all parcels go by airmail, sometimes it can take a bit longer than expected. An average parcel, e.g. to the USA, takes about 20 business days to arrive. Sometimes it can also take 6-8 weeks. There are customs and security checks involved that sometimes delay the shipment.

Especially smaller parcels (up to 1kg), get in many cases upgraded at my costs to priority parcel mail (depends on the weight and destination). Still there is no guaranteed shipping time.

Carriers I use are the Austrian Post, DHL (large parcels) and sometimes smaller carriers like Hermes and GLS. In your country the parcels will be delivered with a local carrier (e.g. USPS in the USA).
