This platter has such a great, iconic mid-century modern design! Perfect for the MCM kitchen and enthusiast.

A blocky orange print circles the rim with spiral waves cut out of them. The color varies in density which seems to be the norm for these dishes from the photos I have looked at. It is a quite deep orange on one side and more faded at the other. I tried to capture it in the photos. A manufacturing flaw but the pattern is so cool that it is easy to overlook that variation.

No backstamp but the plates have a backstamp. These plates were made for Sears and sold through their stores and catalogs.

Made in Japan.

13 1/2 long and about 11" wide. No overt utensil marks, no chips, cracks, or crazing.
