Built with Zirconia Alumina abrasive on a fiberglass backing plate, each disc combines the self-sharpening performance of Zirc grain with the vibration-dampening stability of a rigid fiberglass hub — the disc maintains consistent surface contact without flexing or chattering under load. The T29 angled flap design gives you superior access to edges, corners, inside radiuses, and contoured surfaces that a flat T27 disc can't reach effectively. Rated to 13,000 RPM — compatible with standard 4-1/2" angle grinders.

The 4×40 / 3×60 weighting reflects how angle grinder work actually breaks down. Aggressive removal — weld grinding, rust stripping, paint removal — eats through discs faster and takes more passes than the refinement stages. You'll go through two or three 40-grit discs on a heavy weld job before you ever reach for the 80. The assortment ratio matches that reality. If you find yourself burning through a particular grit faster, the single-grit packs (11101 for 40 grit, 11102 for 60 grit) let you restock the stage you use most without buying another full assortment.
