The CV-1F is a swing check valve that creates water flow in one direction and prevents back flow. This valve can even be used vertically to make water flow upward. An arrow is cast into the valve for intuitive installation. Point the arrow in the direction you want water to flow. An elastomer seal helps provide a tight seal. Easy field maintenance is possible with the removable cover. A maintenance kit is also available to allow backflushing through a fire department connection without removing the valve from the riser.
