Shapely majorettes, competing bands and diamond celebrities were all part of Milwaukee Braves Day in West Palm Beach, FL March 9, when the city officially welcomed the NL club and dedicated its new park. Photo at left shows a portion of the downtown parade that preceded the Braves Grapefruit opener with the A's. At right are NL President Warren GIles, Milwaukee pilot Bobby Bragan and John McHale, Braves proxy. Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches. Photo is dated 03-09-1963.
