This production was an Edwardian musical
comedy in three acts. The American production played at the Casino
Theatre in New York after a Philadelphia tryout, with revisions by its
star, James T. Powers. It ran from February 11, 1909 to September 25, 1909
for a total of 236 performances.

The Theatre was at 510 12th Street,
N.W., current location of Warner Building Parking Garage. Two blocks
due west of Ford’s Theatre.

CONDITION
1905 - 1906 Season Program from Greene’s
Opera House, Cedar Rapids, Iowa - This 119
year old booklet is complete, and in good condition; fully intact with the
staples holding well. The front cover and pages throughout have a short edge
tear. Otherwise, general light wear.
circa 1909 Postcard: James T. Powers in “HAVANA” –
This postcard is in good condition. There
is a light vertical crease through the middle portion.
Columbia Theatre 1912 Program, Washington D.C. -
This 112
year old program is in Excellent condition.
Vaudeville Program 1915 Harris Theatre, Pittsburgh - This early twentieth century program is in Very Good
condition. It is well bound by its
staples. The ‘spine’ has a 1 inch separation at the bottom and a ½ inch tear at
the top. It has no other tears.
Pages and cover show light wear.
