- De Drie Klokken pottery factory was founded in 1671 in a building on De Geer where a brewery was previously located.
- Barbara Cornelis Rotteveel, started this company. Her grandson, Pieter Mesch, took over in 1706.
- Subsequent owners were his widow, Maria van Ophoven, and her second husband, Hendrik van Willigen.
- De Drie Klokken was sold to Adriaan van der Does in 1743. After his death, his widow and son ran the business.
