Very nice, old wooden thermometer. There are some kind of paper pieces that seem to have been glued on as shown in the photos. Also, at the bottom, there is some kind of adhesive that might come off with Goo Gone or something like it. I don't think the thermometer is reading accurately. But new tubes can be purchased online.
