The Kumho Crugen HP71 is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model has some high performance sizes as well.

The tire increases the all weather performance. The symmetric tread design's full depth siping detail and the all season compound enhance the dry, wet, and winter weather grip. The siping placement along the footprint helps to firmly grip the road with extra biting edges, while the compound manages to keep the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. The circumferential grooves and the siped tread blocks work together to prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from the footprint, resisting hydroplaning throughout the performance.

The optimal tread design maintains the surface contact during the drive. The solid center rib and the shoulder block pattern manage to keep the road contact, in order to boost the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. This allows the tire to improve the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The shoulder block placement also enables the tire to optimize the cornering ability and power.
