This is an original rendition entitled "Santa Fe" by renowned marquetry artist Jeffrey Alan Nelson in great condition. There is no dust cover/ paper on the back of the frame.

Jeffrey Alan Nelson works out of his Hudson River Inlay studio located in New York. You may have seen him and his work at a craft show. The art of marquetry is the process of inlaying different types of wood and shell to create the image of the object. No two pieces are ever the same, due to the nature of the wood; its varying grain 

The frame consists of various types of wood including pecan, padouk, rosewood, dyed poplar, and kekele.

About the Artist: Jeff Nelson It all began in 1979, as the hobby of three friends working together in a small loft in San Francisco’s Embarcadero section.
