A wonderful quality antique European solid silver etui / necessaire; with beautiful repoussé rococo style decoration, and sprung-button hinged lid opening to reveal some of the original silver, steel (and similar) contents / implements; a fork, a snuff spoon, mustard spoon, and a knife. Engraved AG to MG 1762 to the base.

CONDITION: All original and good. Signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Lid closure / spring loose, an easy fix. Some oxidisation to contents, easily cleaned if desired. DATE/MARKS: Around 1760. No marks to case I can find. DIMENSIONS: Case approx. 88 x 40 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). WEIGHT: Approx. 42.7 grams in total.
