This is a rare live recording of Freddie King, and while there are quite a few from the 70s, this one from 1969 is extremely rare.

Compared to the soulful and funky live shows of the 70's that heavily featured the organ, this one is more rock-oriented.

Still, it is a valuable vintage and an important item for studying Freddie's guitar. The tame, explosive choking vibrato, which fascinated even Clapton, is a masterpiece. The blues supreme instrumental masterpiece "Hideaway" is a must-hear.
