The Chord Company ShawlineX 2RCA to 2RCA 0.5 m Pair Analogue Interconnects

The Chord Company ShawlineX analog interconnect cable is designed with the unique Tuned ARAY technology, a first for the Sarum series of cables, to deliver highly detailed and dynamic sound. Cable conductors are made of stranded oxygen-free silver-plated copper and encased in cross-linked polyethylene XLPE insulation. Composite shielding material minimizes external noise and interference over a wide frequency range. For additional protection against mechanical noise, as well as to ensure the flexibility, strength, wear resistance of the cable, a PVC outer sheath and a dense red braid are used.

The RCA connectors feature the brand's signature design, called VEE 3, featuring a new lightweight ABS plastic outer shell design and a unique pad silvering process. The center pin is insulated with Teflon, and the connector design and ABS outer sheath provide good strain relief without compressing the cable and degrading performance. All these factors, combined with Tuned ARAY's proprietary construction and quality materials, result in a transparent, dynamic sound with good detail and clear, expressive vocals. The cable received five stars from Hi-Fi World and Hi-Fi Choice.
