This is a new insert that repairs a broken rocker actuator on most 2003-2006 Chevrolet trucks if you still have the rocker/actuator and it is the post that's broken (see pic 3).  Rather than spend $75+ on a replacement switch assembly, I designed this insert to repair the broken post (pic 1) and allow reinstallation of the rocker/actuator.  

This is NOT a complete replacement switch assembly, it is only the insert needed to reinstall the actuator to the broken post.  A much more affordable alternative to replacement.  You will need to have the rocket/actuator with the white nylon pivot points still intact (photo 2, blue circle) as well as the original switch assembly.  This repair does not repair a switch that has failed electrically, it is only a physical/mechanical repair. You'll need glue to secure it (I strongly recommend E6000, available online and in most home improvement stores).

This is the video showing the updated insert.  Insert has been modified to provide clearance for the clear lens under the switch that illuminates the switch and allow light through the replacement insert.  The new design is already pictured in the above photos.
