This is a cool vintage/antique handmade tribal mask! I believe it's African though I don't know which country. Please check all pictures carefully to see detail and condition. It measures 18" top to bottom X 8 1/2" wide X 5 1/2" deep. It is wood and depicts a face with horns on top and a bird swallowing something sitting atop that.
CONDITION: Antique or vintage--20th century?, lots of old & chippy paint, some light scratching/wear/age/use, a few tiny spots with original chips (one on back right side, top triangle with old original black paint), dust, etc...
It has drilled holes around its perimeter; I think this is where 'hair' used to be but is gone now.
The wood around a top hole was nipped out--see pics---

The paint is faded and chippy + there is a lot of dust in the crevices.
It's a primitive piece; you could try to redo the paint if you wanted but I like it the way it is with its old & rough patina!
Let me know if you have any questions!
