Surrounds are a critical element of speaker performance. The surround not only affects the bass parameters of a speaker it also absorbs and reflects various cone vibrations throughout the frequency spectrum. Further, the surround often determines the response of a speaker to peak signals. Serious speaker designers put much effort and science into the specifics of each particular surround. The type of material, treatment, thickness profile, curvature, angle of attachment and the exact method of attachment all come into play. There are as many variations of surrounds as there are speaker brands and generally they are not interchangeable. That's why at Audiodogs you will only get parts that meet the specifications for your speaker and not something that merely fits. 

This sale is for 2 American made foam surrounds for the Optimus Pro CS-3 Center 4" speakers. These foams are the correct density, weight and profile design so that your speakers will function as the manufacturer intended. Not all speaker foams are equal and getting the size right is only half the battle.
