This a very fine quality decal. It’s a vintage and also a rarity, cause the Italian manufacture is not producing this anymore. A beautiful gold, shimmery, well designed Greek Fret, Meander, Greek key Design as you ‘d like to call it. It’s like a Versace motive : ) so you could create your craft, design , up-cycle project with something that has a rich history and it’s in everyone imaginary. It’s quite delicate when detached from its protective sheet so use a careful approach.

It needs to be soaked in a bucket of lukewarm water or better in your bath cause it’s quite large and needs to be submerged to detach evenly and without a risk of sticking to itself. So ideally it should lay completely flat. The sheet that contains 13 separate row it’s 70x50cm, quite big. You can cut the strip , row individually which measure 50cm x 5cm and immerge separately. Which is the best option instead of submerging the entire sheet, just in case you won’t use them all at once. As you can also cut in smaller pieces, I leave that to your imagination and creativity.

I added few pics of some quick example of surfaces to apply to. The smoother the better, cause it picks all the surface imperfections, but that also depends on your project idea, cause on furniture , wood it might not matter if you want a more distressed look. You might want to apply a glue a think water based, to the surface especially if it’s porous.

You can play a lot with this motive, or combine with other things on your collage painting etc. Could be used as a decorative element on wood frames and give that antique look. Can be used in ceramic, glass, tiles. Well it’s a decal that has great potential that can transform your creation into something unique and beautiful.

One sheet it will be enough to cover 6.5m linear. So all the 13 row of Greek fret in a sheet will cover linearly a room wall of 6.5m For a room 3x 3 you will need 3 sheets to go all around linearly.
