Description

This book is a revised and expanded version of "Japanese Butterflies" published in 2012. Five species, including newly classified butterflies, have been added, covering a total of 268 species, including all species of butterflies inhabiting Japan and non-native species. We introduce all the butterflies through ecological photographs taken in the field. Reflecting the latest information on the Red List of the Ministry of the Environment, we have expanded the species designated by the Species Conservation Law and prefectural ordinances. We have also reinforced observation points to help distinguish butterflies. A must-have book for nature lovers.
