Beautiful antique pique inlaid faux tortoise shell box. The metal inlay is in the form

Of scrolls and flowers. The edge also has pique inlay along the edge of the lid and the lower part of the body. The box looks black in normal light but if you hold up the lid or the bottom in bright sunlight the coloration is apparent. (See photos). The box is 3 inches diameter. And 1 1/4 inch tall. There is a chip out of the edge of the lid. (See last photo)
