UNIQUE CREEK HOMESTEAD SEEDS: All of our seeds are grown right here on our Unique Creek Homestead and not sourced from elsewhere. All seeds are collected each growing season and are 1-year old or less, stored in air-tight Mason jars. Seeds are harvested and labeled for storage each season, one plant/seed type at a time so seeds do not get mixed by accident during the process! The seeds we use at the start of each growing season come from the exact same seeds we sell.

ABOUT THESE SEEDS: The Small Sugar Pumpkin is the ultimate pie pumpkin, although the larger specimens can also be carved for Halloween. The vigorous vine grows well on a trellis or other support, and produces a number of 5-8 pound fruits. Eating quality is excellent. Germination Temperature: Optimum soil temperatures 70-90ºF.

To direct sow, plant the seeds a week after frost 1/2" deep, 3-4' apart and thin to 8-10' apart. For companion planting benefits, plant Small Sugar pumpkin seeds along with corn but avoid planting them with potatoes.
