Corning Ware "Buffet Server" 8 1/2" skillet, model #B-8 1/2.  Made in the USA of glass/ceramic with bakelite handle.  Both pieces can be used in the oven up to 325 degrees.  Anything over that the lid should be removed as the bakelite handle will start to blister.  The finish on this piece does not show any signs of use, so could be new w/o box.
