This listing is for a boxed Perisphinctes Ammonite in a 3x4cm clear plastic box complete with label.
Perisphinctes was a very common and widespread ammonite of the Middle to Late Jurassic, and is a classic index fossil whose presence indicates the Jurassic age of the layer it is found in. A nice entry level fossil, but a fossil that deserves to be in any fossil collection as one of the most well known and symbolic fossil types within the field of paeleontology.
