Here are 6 gorgeous (vintage and USED condition) hand painted porcelain tiles! They each measure 5" X 7" X approx. 1/4" thick and depict different types of flowers They are just beautiful! I think they'd be nice for: outdoor kitchens, indoor areas, or some type of garden areas---sheds, garden walls, etc... though not floors as their design might wear off. Some are signed on the front or back and they were painted in the 1990's.
CONDITION: Vintage and used condition! A few of them show paint wear around their edges---see my pics. These are areas that show white where they rubbed one another while being stored. There are a couple of small white spots on one also. It's fairly subtle and even adds to their charm! The
backs are a bit dirty + some have signatures on the back.
I don't know what type of paint was used & I don't know if it was 'baked' on or not so I don't know how durable the painting is; for that reason, I wouldn't use them on a floor or area with lots of user wear or exposure to the elements. A shed project or deck (wall) project would work, as would most anything indoors.
My pictures turned out kind of dark in this low winter light---they are actually a bit brighter/lighter in person.
These were painted beautifully and would look wonderful in a garden themed spot!
