one small chip on very top near the cork
it is a challenge to read the Eldreth signature, as there is splatter on the base, and there seems to be other signatures
no date that I can decipher
other Eldreth face jugs that I was fortunate to find at an estate sale are dated in the late 1990s or early 2000s
